Shingles
I have had the unfortunate experience of the having the Shingles virus for the past 2 years .They are painful and do not go away, even though I have been treated with the shingles shot from my primary care medical doctor, after the initial outbreak of the disease.

Through Cannabis Medical (my caregiver) I was able to try an oil based balm, Andy Cookston created and produced this balm especially for this condition. The initial feeling was of a cooling sensation, which soothed the itch within 20 minutes. During this same time, the pain was lessened and the urge to scratch, which only irritates the condition further, was also gone.

Since I first experienced this condition, I have been purchasing an ointment from the health food store at $37 per bottle, to control the itch and pain. Though the ointment did keep the irritation to a minimum, this balm from Andy was much more effective, and I look forward to being pain and itch free from this condition, with daily use of this new product.

I thank God that our State of Colorado has allowed Cannabis Medical to operate and provide these much needed products to the many patients in need of alternatives to prescription drug products.

Great Staff... Very Informative
Great staff...Very Informative. They asked what health conditions I had and they suggested what I needed.
I've been to several other dispensaries and they never asked me a thing regarding my health. They also showed me healthier ways of using bud than my "old school" knowledge. The Tinctures and truffles make me sleep and relax my muscles. The bud selection was good.
I visited several times before deciding to have them as a caregiver.

Tincture & My Back…By S.C.
This all started way back in 1998 when I originally injured my back. It was a partial slipped disk in L5, most of the pain was muscle spasms and very little nerve pain. The disk bulge was small then. Over a period of 2 years, doing pool therapy, physical therapy and getting addicted to Flexeril. I finally got well enough to go back to work as a professional driver. Now 12 years later at the age of 37 I have arthritis from C1 to L5. L4 is collapsed and L5 has a complete slipped disk pressing on my sciatic nerve causing severe pain down the left side of my body. This feels like a hot sharp rod piercing my spine just above my buttocks and going straight down my left leg between my bone and muscle. It feels like my calf is going to explode and my toes are numb and every step I take is another reason I would rather just cut my leg off. Some of you have felt this and can understand the pain, you are who I’m talking to right now. I have found something that helps, it’s natural and made in house. When I first got my license I was looking for not just a dispensary but a place that cares, can help me with my condition, and is safe and secure. I think I found one! When I walked in and talked to Juan and Andy it was almost closing time, but they still invited me in and started talking to about the services that they offer. After about 15 minutes of talking, I made the decision to have them as my Care Giver. I tried some Blueberry Tincture. I felt it a bit in my head but the major part of the medicine seemed to work mostly in my body. It lasted 8-10 hours all the way to bedtime. I woke up the next day, feeling great. I didn’t have any of the zombie effects that pain killers produce, or a sore back! What it did was allowed me to relax and get a good night’s sleep without all of the horrible side effects that synthetic legal medications produce. The side effects that I’m talking about are, morning grogginess, making it hard to even get out of bed. Then If I have to take pills during the day I feel overly tired and spacey. To me this isn’t worth it when I only get relief 50% of the time, except when I replace them with tincture. Glad I found tincture! This was all before my disk completely slipped a month ago. Now I have to take so many pain killers to even move, I am feeling all the side effects that I don’t want,  I replace one third to one half of the pain killers with a dose of tincture. I still get the pain relief but not the side effects. The point I’m trying to get across is that tincture works for me and it might work for you.
Thank You S.C.
